Yes. Our technicians are certified to install Ajax systems. Kevlar Security Solutions is an independent installer of Ajax products.
How many cameras do I need?
Camera count depends on your property size, layout, entry points, and the level of coverage required. Following a site survey, we produce a detailed coverage plan showing exactly which areas each camera covers and why. We won't recommend more cameras than you need.
How long is footage stored?
Storage duration depends on the number of cameras, resolution, and recording schedule. We configure systems to meet your specific retention requirements — typically 7 to 30 days for standard installations. Extended retention is available with additional storage.
Can I view footage remotely on my phone?
Yes. All systems we install include remote viewing capability via a mobile app and web browser. You can view live feeds, review recorded footage, and receive motion alerts from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can my CCTV be connected to an alarm system?
Yes. The cameras and alarm systems we install are managed in the same app, and alarm systems can also be monitored 24/7 by our ASIAL accredited A Grade control room.
Can you integrate with my existing security infrastructure?
Yes, we specialise in integrating new security components with existing systems. Our technicians are familiar with most major brands and can develop solutions that enhance your current setup while minimising replacement costs.
Are there legal requirements around CCTV in Australia?
Yes. CCTV systems must comply with Australian Privacy Principles and, in commercial settings, may require signage informing people they are being recorded. For workplace installations there may be additional obligations under workplace surveillance legislation. We advise clients on applicable requirements during the design phase.
How quickly can you install a new security system?
Our installation timeframes vary depending on the complexity of the system and our current schedule. For standard installations, we can typically complete the work within 1-2 weeks from approval.
